This year, our big festival dream came true. The performance we have been striving for for years will finally come to Prague! The French ensemble Lucamoros will bring their giant moving audiovisual installation. La tortue de Gauguin / Gauguin's tortoise: Six painters, an actress and live music reveal to the audience the process of creating an ephemeral work of art. Inspired by the story of Paul Gauguin, who allegedly painted on the shell of a live tortoise, the performance explores the idea of art existing beyond market values. La tortue de Gauguin is a monumental live painting, concert, performance and dream all rolled into one. It all takes place on a giant structure where painters create before your eyes, paintings appear and disappear in real time... and you are there. Playing July 9 and 10, 2025. More info coming soon.
