About the ensemble

The company was founded as a trio in Brussels in 2012 after intensive training in the Lecoq method *) at the Lassaâd School. In this year, their show WANTED is created, specially designed for travelling around the world. This was followed by a tour of South America where they performed in various cultural centres, underprivileged neighbourhoods, community cafes and theatre schools. The project has an artistic and educational dimension, and the company also runs many theatre workshops on the Lecoq technique throughout Europe.

After a few years, the WANTED project evolved, found its new form, gained depth and eventually the Bruital cie trio became a duo. With a constant desire to travel the world, they have prepared an English version of the show, which they perform in India and across Europe.

*) The Lecoq Method is a comprehensive pedagogical system, dealing primarily with the body, the dynamics of nature and taking inspiration from the surrounding world. The method is beneficial not only for actors/creators, but also for educators.

About the show

WANTED is a parody of the western, completely pantomimed by the actress and sound designer. He's the voice, she's the body, and together they play every character in the Wild West, from the proud sheriff to the bloodthirsty bandit, to the banker, the prisoner and the femme fatale. With precise synchronicity, they revel in cartoon-like clichés and tell another story between the lines of the western, their own, a little absurd and a little tragic.
