About the ensemble
Chris and Iris met at the Academy of Circus and Performing Arts in Tilburg, Holland. Since graduating in 2011, they have worked with many well-known companies (Cirque Éloize, Cirkus Cirkör, La Soirée, Palazzo) and performed at several prestigious venues (Sydney Opera House, Roundhouse in London, La Tohu in Montreal and Chamäleon Theater in Berlin).
About the show
Two unstable bodies in acrobatic interaction. They are 42 centimeters and 42 kilograms apart. A difference that is not a barrier, but rather connects and creates new possibilities.
GAP of 42 is a compilation of contemporary circus, physical theatre, dance and object theatre. Chris and Iris perform amazing acrobatic feats with precision and ease in a moving, poetic and original performance.
