About the ensemble
Autorský audiovizuální projekt Dominiky Špalkové a Báry Ungerové pro rodiny s dětmi se odehrává ve speciálně upraveném karavanu, který je zároveň výtvarnou instalací.
Autorky hledají odpověď na otázku, co je vlastně domov a co k němu patří. Ve svém bádaní se vydaly na cestu, která vede daleko od jejich domovů – na Island a do Norska, kde paralelně vznikly dvě další autorské skupiny a dva karavany.
Inspirovány krajinou, rytmem, přírodou, setkávání s lidmi a jejich příběhy a opakujícími se motivy, které na ně volají z dálky krajiny věků, tři skupiny umělců z různých koutů světa hledají útulný vnitřní prostor, své „doma“, a
vydávají se za ním v Moetivi karavanu.

Maybe home is wherever we are.
A project that enters the landscape and tradition.
An expedition to the essence of what makes a home a home.
The original performance by Dominika Špalková and Bára Ungerová for families with children takes place in a specially adapted caravan, which is also an art installation.
Dominika: At home, I have boiling water in the kettle and the radio on.
Bára: At home for me it's bread and butter.
And what's for you at home?
We were looking for an answer to the question of what home is and what makes it. We went on journeys that led far north of our homes - among the volcanoes and lichens of Iceland and up to the Sami and reindeer of northern Norway.
Is home a place or a feeling?
And do even nomads have a home?
And do even the natives have rent?

We were inspired by landscape, rhythm, meeting people and their stories. We folded, unfolded and re-folded pieces of memories, feelings, sounds, colours, shapes, ornaments, objects, tastes and smells. We found familiar motifs that recur across time and space. We eventually printed this kaleidoscope image in our production Moetivi Caravan.
We shared the idea of a performance about home with other groups of artists in Iceland and Norway, and two other original productions were created in parallel. With our uniquely conceived mobile homes, we come to you in the Moetivi Caravan project.
The show is suitable for children aged four and up.
