About the ensemble
The Trick Brothers troupe is extraordinary for its constant inventiveness in combining juggling techniques (of the highest European quality) and theatrical situations. Moreover, it is done in a completely non-violent and very attractive way for the audience. In their projects, they involve the audience live in the performance, so that an authentic participatory audience experience is created; at other times, the central pair of creators collaborates with other personalities of the Czech novocircus scene and extraordinary synthetic productions are created.
Tens of thousands of people in the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Sweden, Latvia, Slovenia, Israel, Ukraine, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Taiwan and last but not least in China at the EXPO 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and at the Formula 1 race in Bahrain have already had the opportunity to see the performance of The Trick Brothers.
About the show
From the depths of the ocean to human land. Two sea lords, armed with tridents and curiosity, come to land to find out what rocked their world. They follow the trail of disruption, search for the perpetrators of evil, and uncover secrets that may have remained buried forever beneath the surface.
With humour and a pinch of sea salt, they deliver a message about the fragility of nature, the courage to stand up to chaos and the belief that even small actions can make a big difference. Get ready for a wave of laughter, a splash of energy and a dash of environmental reflection.
Brothers in Trick returns with a new production for public space. Using juggling, object manipulation and their typical dose of the absurd, they will once again delve into a genre that has been their home for fifteen years - street theatre. You can expect original scenic images, unexpected moments and a good dose of marine energy.
