About the ensemble
Street theater in the grandest sense of the word. The V.O.S.A. Theatre troupe has long specialized in bringing public spaces to life using giant puppets, ingenious kinetic objects, and acrobatics. Their domain is not enclosed stages, but open streets, squares, and dynamic parades, where they can instantly transform the overall atmosphere. They turn an ordinary stroll through the city into an unexpected adventure and aren’t afraid to involve passersby themselves in their performance.
About the production
A typical day in the city center. Crowds of people rush about, chasing their dreams and going about their daily tasks. But try slowing down for a moment. The route from Mariánské to Old Town Square is transforming into a live theatrical performance. Moving kinetic machines and flexible acrobatic masts unexpectedly enter the usual hustle and bustle. Perspective shifts, and familiar corners take on a new, dreamlike quality. Performers from V.O.S.A. Theatre balance five meters above the historic cobblestones, searching for a fixed point in space. We’ll take your senses on a journey across land and through the air, and together we’ll try to touch the sky. Who knows what will happen when the astronomical clock strikes the hour. In any case, you’ll emerge from this journey enriched by one very unusual experience.
