The Swiss art collective Panorama Kino Theatre turns traditional perceptions of theater and public space on their head. Sometimes all it takes is a slight shift in perspective to turn a dull afternoon into pure street magic. Panorama Kino Theatre brings us an entirely new world packed into a single, unique structure. We invite you to their 360° rotating pop-up cinema!
As soon as you take a seat in this special box, the line between reality and fiction begins to blur. The actors performing outdoors involve not only random passersby in their performance, but also the pulsating city itself. An ordinary street thus transforms before your eyes into an endless movie screen, where every unexpected movement, a stray pedestrian, or a bird flying by plays its irreplaceable role. This 90-minute experience, in which you become both a privileged observer and an unwitting co-creator of a constantly shifting illusion, will literally shift your perception of reality.
You’ll be able to enjoy this visual and sensory concert over two festival days, with two screenings offered on each day. Get ready for the fact that once you step out of this cinema, the world won’t look quite so ordinary anymore.
