About the band
The basic line-up of the multi-genre trio the Brownies is Pavel Rohlena (eight-string guitar, vocals, oral percussion), Hanka Rohlenová (percussion and drum kit, vocals) and the unmistakable Annamária d'Almeida behind the microphone.
We are lovers of Latin jazz, swing, soul, reggae, rock n' roll, pop and funk. We sing in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, Slovak and Czech. Our repertoire is broad, focusing on interpretations of well-known, lesser-known and the most well-known songs. We have been playing together since 2012 and often and gladly join forces with other original musicians.
