About the ensemble
Ymedio Teatro is a professional theatre company from Torreperogil, Andalusia, founded in 2006. It is made up of Álex Ramos and Santos Sánchez, who specialise in object theatre, clownery, movement and visual comedy. Their work is known for its poetics and emotional depth, which has brought them recognition on the international stage. With performances such as SIE7E a SoloS they have performed at prestigious festivals across Europe and Asia. Their latest work EcO has won awards at festivals such as Festitíteres Alicante 2022 and Lingener Theo 2023.
About the show
EcO is a visually impressive performance without words, combining object theatre, clownery, movement and pantomime. Two comedians, trapped on stage, experience repetitive situations that reveal the complexity of their relationship. The show is a metaphor about human relationships, freedom and the repetition of life patterns. EcO has been performed at festivals such as Fira de Titelles de Lleida, FETEN Gijón and Teatralia Madrid.
